There is a new way to take out Zaghnol, with trance! So just like before with Sealion, I get into a battle with a Mu and take some hits, this time around I have 7 and a half minutes of dead time before Zaghnol can appear, so there is no rush until then.

Like always you MUST STEAL THE NEEDLE FORK, it's the only way to avoid EXP in the near future. With The Orge, you have access to Shift Break when under trance, which combined with Freya's Jump, and a physical attack, will do the job.

I find it better to let Freya win the FOTH instead of Zidane. Not only do you not have to wait until the time runs out to progress, but you also get an item that will come in handy on Disc 2! The 5000 gil you get if Zidane wins doesn't matter too much, and I took measures already to make up for that, which is why I made Desert Boots to begin with.

After the FOTH, just get the Wyerd Card, and save at the Dragon's Gate.
