Thought the challenge would be boring after getting Celestriads and whatnot? Well, here's another really cool battle.

Storm Dragon has always been a menace to LLG players due to the unblockable, unrunicable (not that we care), non-elemental special magic Leaf Swirl that targets the whole party and does not leave anybody alive.

He can be nasty and use it on his opening turn before we can do shit, ending the battle in an immediate game over. If he doesn't, he'll probably use it later unless Fixed Dice brings us exceptional luck.

Yeah, for those who missed the previous videos, Mog with Fixed Dice, Master's Scroll and Merit Award necessary to equip FD is pretty much the best way of dealing damage in this challenge. Both relic slots are occupied, meaning he can no longer be the party's Knight's Code + perfect defence protector.

In this fight, Celes with Prayer Beads, Lightbringer, Paladin's Shield and Green Beret, as well as Minerva, plays this role.

So what do we do about Leaf Swirl? At this point the party already has mastered Reraise but using this spell, alongside Quick and Ultima, would make the challenge non-existent.

So we use the old-fashioned dragoon strategy. Storm Dragon is weak to lightning, hence we employ Relm with Dragonboots and Dragon Horn, equipped with a Thunder Rod, as the spells likely to kick in will damage the boss quite a bit.

Relm should always be in the air every second turn so that when she lands she has the chance of surviving the next attack and reviving somebody from the party.

His first phase doesn't end as soon as I would've liked and drags on, so Relm runs out of Fenrir's protection in the process and things get pretty epic.

In the second phase, nothing can really kill us, though the fractional attacks may well stack and kill somebody at 1 HP, but this doesn't happen.

Celes takes care of the physicals, and Thunder Shields nullify wind. Leaf Swirl is really the only thing that is worrisome here.

The second fight, against the Holy Dragon, is a typical WoR borefest. Anyone can solo this, and I have Mog take care of the boss in like a minute. Most other dragon battles aren't even worth recording, really.
