The levels of the deployed units in this chapter:

Eirika 11(39)
Gilliam 4(52)
Neimi 4(33)
Vanessa 4(02)
Colm 3(92)
Moulder 3(89)
Artur 3(76)
Lute 3(42)
Natasha 1(44)
Ross 1(0)

What to say about the party... Ross finally promoted, and since he's RNG-blessed (and just look at that bloody Resistance stat - he's almost a mage killer thanks to it). Other major changes include Gilliam and Moulder coming back (so we have two healers and will have them for a while), and Franz and Joshua being too high-levelled to stay in the party. Pity about Franz.

It's Fog of War all over again... I must say I can't stand this chapter. I remember "failing" (i.e. losing some units and being tempted to reset) it on a normal game and then feeling forced to switch Seth in (there was a time I thought Seth shouldn't be used because he takes other units' exp) and seeing him die to an axe fighter's Halberd. It drove me nuts, and I think I still dislike this chapter a lot. Even spamming Torch with your staff users, you can't quite say where the enemies will appear from (until you've played it a few times in a row), and those Cavalier reinforcements that are summoned from behind, possibly right where your most fragile units are, probably add to the annoying things you can expect in this chapter.

I relied on Ross a whole lot. His support with Lute went to A level, which gives him boosts in many key parameters, and when he stands on a fort his evasion rate is ridiculous when those soldiers attack him. One reason for that is how speed-blessed he is (he usually struggles to be faster than his father Garcia who has a more reliable base stat that ensures he isn't doubled by most enemies and can also double soldiers and knights for sure for a lengthy enough time), and luck helps with evading attacks too. He can even take on some mercs and deal some nice damage back with a Hatchet. I guess a low level run is nice time to see Ross shine without purposely screwing your more talented units over by feeding him kills.

On the whole though, the party struggled to take care of the opposition and I had to rush the boss when the cavalier reinforcements were so dangerously close to killing Moulder and Natasha who tried to hide away on mountains and forts to avoid being killed. I chipped at them a little bit for experience before killing the boss.

One mistake that could've cost me a reset was letting the mercenary and the Steel Axe fighter attack Artur on the same turn. He avoided one of the attacks fortunately.

Vanessa got the boss kill, though later I realised I could've given the bosskill to Eirika by simply waiting for her to be attacked on enemy phase. The boss's turn always come before his allies' in this game. However, I also think Eirika shouldn't be getting any more bosskill experience. Ephraim's scenario will follow in two maps, and we don't really want to invest exp into a unit who will be absent for a while.

MVP: Ross
