First map in the playthrough where there are fewer deployment slots than characters in use. Just like I use the RNG to decide my random reclasses, I start deciding who's going to take part in each map so that I wouldn't rely on a select few units for the playthrough.

Until chapter 11, I can field all my characters but one, so they enjoy a healthy amount of action for the learning of skills and levelling. In this map, it is Elise who gets benched - too bad, as she got a +skl/res talk bonus before the map. Though I won't be using weapons from talk bonuses like raider equips, which are too good, I'm allowing talk bonuses to be active (unlike in my girls only LTC run, where I resetted whenever I got one), because randomness is central to this run and randomness, to a certain extent anyway, is fun.

What the RNG gave me this time:
Corrin 5/24 - Monk
Felicia 2/32 - Master of Arms
Silas 12/23 - Fighter
Arthur 18/23 - Dread Fighter
Effie 21/21 - Great Lord
Mozu 15/22 - Wyvern Rider

I believe I should consider myself really lucky here. I got two DLC classes, which means better bases and movement, though it's a pity Corrin got Monk - pity for him anyway, the party does enjoy having a Heal bot follow them so that they don't make me buy tons of Vulneraries for every damn chapter out there.

Felicia gets Master of Arms. All I can learn out of it is Seal Strength, which is not my favourite skill tbqh (I prefer sealing enemies' defensive stats and speed instead), but the pair-up bonuses are some of the best around (str, spd AND def? do want) and we can get a bit more axe rank towards hopefully using Bolt Axes sometime later in this run. The stats are sorta similar to Blacksmith's.

Silas was very close to a level-up last chapter, and now he can learn a different skill than what could've been - Fighter's HP+5 is one of my favourite unpromoted skills to have, always extending a unit's potential vitality without tonic usage and the like. Silas makes a pretty darn good Fighter too, 2HKOing the Fighters on this map without a pair-up after a +2 spd meal.

Arthur getting Dread Fighter makes him great, though with such abysmal luck he needs to be careful attacking with something other than his Bronze Dagger - DF's base luck is very low. His high strength and access to daggers makes him perfect for travelling west, slaying the dark mages there with ease and securing one of the 3 villages I need to get the maximum 10K gold reward from this chapter (easy to accomplish). He and Felicia defeat Flora as well - looking forward to recruiting her later. A special conversation occurs between the sisters.

Effie really goes to town as a Great Lord with its competitive bases and also keeping the lance rank she started with. She has enough strength to always have her skill active against the enemies on this map, even the Fighters when paired-up with Silas for that +4 str. This pair-up also lets her OHKO dark mages with a Javelin - after eliminating the initial wave of enemies summoned by the 3 mov soldier visiting a nearby village, I unpair her from Silas so that she can Javelin the rest of the dark mages alone, allowing me to feed some easy kills to...

...Mozu. She got Wyvern Rider in this chapter, which for me mainly means that she will now always have a bit extra firepower thanks to Strength+2. The flight here isn't too helpful, aside from carrying Arthur over some terrain on turn 1, but 7 mov helps her get from one place where she is fed a kill to another. I like to think I didn't slow myself down much feeding her experience, since efficiency really isn't one of this run's concerns anyway. As you would expect from Mozu, the 3 level-ups she got here were good.

I didn't have any trouble with the boss, the only pitfall is possibly forgetting he's got Vantage on Lunatic mode, so you could forget about it and try to finish him off with an accurate attack on player phase and get ambushed by Nosferatu. Effie took care of him for me. She didn't get the super-useful Charm ability by reaching lv. 10 as a Great Lord, but I'm sure I will have it sometime later in the challenge.

I think this isn't a hard chapter, and it doesn't really force you to do certain things as long as the villages are visited on time, nor are the reinforcements overwhelming at all.
