This map is a good introduction to Ephraim's route imo. It shows you that the game will pull no punches : you've got multiple effective weapons (horseslayer, heavy spear, armorslayer and so on), some pretty dangerous equipment (killing edge, killer axe on the boss, two sleep staves, a Luna tome) and some nice side objectives in a red gem to steal and three treasure chests (a Restore staff, some more money to go for the 10k the game gives you after chapter 8 and an Ocean seal that I'll sell for even more money). However it is a really long map since it is full of twists and turns and I wanna do all side objectives but there are also many reinforcements on the way. I also had to buy a Heal staff at a premium but I think it was worth it.

I lead the assault with Seth, Forde, Kyle and Ephraim mostly while everyone else follows in their path. I can at least avoid one reinforcement by staying on the stair after killing the first shaman that spawned there. Moulder can use his Restore staff to remove the sleep status the priest likes to put on my characters but nothing interesting happens until you open the big door imo.

I need to have two characters to hold the frontline when I open the door. Seth is an obvious one and I use Forde as the other one since he can take a few hits. The first wave goes down to Seth, Forde and some help from Ephraim and Artur for the armor knights. I can recruit Amelia two turns after opening the door with Franz and then Seth goes forward on his own and will demolish quite a number of enemies on the sides while dealing with the four reinforcements. Garcia, Ephraim and Forde will follow a little bit behind him but the other ones will wait a bit : I could kill that longbow archer but I still want that Red gem so I'll block his path with someone (I used Kyle here) so that everyone else can go through. Colm steals the Red gem and then Joshua finishes that archer off.

I'll split my group temporarily : Ephraim and Seth will rescue Tana from her cell and deal with the myrmidon while Colm raids the three chests, with Franz and Vanessa being here for some rescuedropping. Ephraim will also deal with the three reinforcements on the top right. The rest of the group will deal with the cavaliers that spawn on the bottom right, Forde and Garcia being my frontline before Seth comes back. I can finally go near the boss and this one can be very scary. The boss can use his Killer axe and a critical hit would kill anyone but you can avoid that by rescuing the unit that faces him. I didn't need that because Seth got a critical hit and the silver sword had barely enough might for a 4HKO usually (technically 5HKO because Gheb would heal a bit on enemy phase) but here it was a oneround.

I had to do this map again though because I forgot for the last 10 turns or more to go and get the Restore staff the first time, woops !

New units :

Tana : Tana is an interesting unit tbh. She's your second flier with pretty good bases except for HP. You could either not promote her for a better flying rescuebot than Vanessa or you can promote her for better stats if you use her as a combat unit. You can choose better stats and the option to use swords with Falcoknight or a bit less stats but way more constitution and the Pierce ability (ignore the enemy's defense with level% chance, I think it's a gimmick more than anything). If I promote her it's going to be wyvern knight though but she's got a pretty bad time to level up at first : she basically is available at the end of chapter 9 while chapter 10 has a turn limit and she needs to fly about everywhere.

Amelia : Speedwings is really useful for some units to let them double something or to not get doubled, I need at least two of them to deal with the final boss. Oh wait there is a character attached to it ?
