Fixing Genre Fusions
10,191Genre fusions are a bit weird, AAA devs seem to love lumping a bunch of genres together to try and appeal to as many people as possible, but the end result is often a watered-down version of two different games that happen to share a program. So how can we fix this?
Well, The Architect has a few ideas, and most of their inspiration comes not from gaming, but cookery- and how great chefs can combine ingredients with very different tastes by unifying them around a single shared theme. Yum.
