Geforce 11 Release Date Info | 8 Core Coffee Lake Sampling in June & AMD Z490
403Nvidia's Geforce GTX Pascal series of cards has been out two years and gamers are looking for the 1180/2080 next generation but there are precious few details at the moment. The only inklings are that they may be called Turing, Ampere, Volta or a Pascal refresh. An Nvidia AIB partner has hinted we will see the mobile variants of the next gen GPUs released by the end of next year.
Intel's 8 core processor for the mainstream has been hinted at for a while, but roadmaps hint that we may see sampling for 8 core Coffee Lake in June 2018 with a release date at the end of last year.
Meanwhile, AMD's Z490 platform shall release over the next couple of months, although what difference there is between the Z490 and the x470 remains unclear. Threadripper 2 will also release in August.
