Vega 20 Benchmarks & Specs Leak - Behold 7nm Vega | GPU Prices Fall & More
359Today, an early benchmark for the AMD Vega 20 has surfaced, giving us a look at not only the specifications for the GPU next on the graphics lineup, but also a peek at the gaming and productivity performance in the benches. The specs line up with previous rumors, but the more important question is how it holds up in 3DMark and other tests?
On the other side, AMD's Chris Hook who left the company not too long ago has apparently joined Raja Koduri in switching to the dark side. He, too, is now working at Intel. He is apparently working on something to do with discrete graphics marketing. This is another huge blow to AMD, losing another key person to their competitor.
Finally, some good news for PC gamers as it seems graphics card prices are finally lowering to the point where some high end GPUs like the GTX 1080 are attainable for their MSRP. Prices have been insanely inflated thanks to the huge interest in cryptocurrency mining, but it seems that demand has finally eased off enough for prices to come down a bit.
