In this video, we are checking out Guild Wars 2's 2019 Halloween event! This video is really kicking off our Halloween week and will focus on many of the different holiday events happening in the MMORPGs I play. A lot of my favourite Halloween activities have returned thi year including The Clocktower Jump Quest, The Labrinth, and Ascent to madness. Although we didn't necessarily get any new content in terms of gameplay, there have been some new rewards added this Halloween including an awesome looking jack-o-lantern helm. I think much like holidays in real life, having certain elements that return to the game each year makes the holidays more comforting and enjoyable!

Guild Wars 2 is a game that has changed tremendously since it launched way back in 2012. It has gone through two major expansions: Heart of Thorns (2015) and Path of Fire (2017). It has added many new types of content: fractals, raids, and various map-wide meta events. Many new character progression systems: agony resistance, masteries, elite specializations, mounts and legendary collections. One entirely new class (profession): the revenant. But the questions remains; is GW2 worth playing in 219?

Yes. It is hands down one of the best MMORPGs in the market today. And certainly, the MMO that offers players the best value. I mean the amount of content you get for not paying a subscription is insane. This in combination with the base game being completely free makes the game extremely approachable.
