How Does The Brain Understand TRAUMA & Grief? | Psychotherapy Crash Course
Note: apologies for music volume at very beginning. Some have reported it is louder than usual.🤔
"What is wrong with the year 2020?" is a question I have gotten from many of my clients/patients lately.
The stress involved in a single act of turning on the news is overwhelming. You can't help but expect something bad to have happened while you were away. And you certainly can't ignore that our society does seem a bit more tense, uncertain, and distant at times.
In this video, I discuss how today's events, including the news, impacts the brain. Believe it or not, some people experience symptoms of PTSD after turning off the news.
I welcome your comments and questions!
