"Why Does My Mind Think Negative Things?" 2020 Thoughts
*EARLY UPLOAD:
I recently offered a consultation to a young lady in Bogota Columbia and she posed the following question to me: "Why does my mind think negative things?" I used this opportunity to discuss what I am going to discuss with you today which is COGNITIVE DISTORTIONS.
Cognitive distortions or thinking errors are ways that our mind causes us to think which then leads us to feel associated emotions. If we are thinking negatively without balancing our thoughts with reality we can end up stressed, anxious, depressed, and even suicidal.
In today's video, I will briefly discuss these thinking errors so you will have some understanding of what they are and how they truly impact you.
