How To Delete A Netflix Profile - Easy Solution | HTG
Deleting a Netflix profile is a quick and simple process that can be done directly through the Netflix app. Whether you're cleaning up unused profiles or adjusting access for family members, this video provides a clear step-by-step guide to remove any profile from your account.
When you open the Netflix app, you'll first see the profile selection screen, which displays all existing profiles under your account. If you tap on a profile directly, it will prompt you to enter a PIN if one is set, or it will take you straight into the viewing interface. However, this is not the method for deleting a profile.
To delete a Netflix profile, look for the pencil icon at the top right corner of the screen. This icon opens the profile management screen. From there, each profile will also display its own small pencil icon. Tap the pencil icon on the specific profile you want to remove.
Once inside the profile settings, scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap on the Delete Profile button. Confirm your action when prompted. The selected profile will be permanently removed from your Netflix account, along with its watch history, preferences, and personal settings.
This method works the same on both Android and iPhone devices. However, be aware that you cannot delete the main account holder’s profile—the one used during sign-up. All other profiles, up to a total of five, can be freely added or removed at any time.
