How to Change iCloud Password
Changing your iCloud password is important for keeping your Apple ID and personal data secure. Whether you're updating it for security reasons or replacing a forgotten password, the process can be done directly from your iPhone in just a few steps.
To begin, open the Settings app and tap on your Apple ID profile at the top of the screen. Then select Sign-In and Security from the list of options.
Next, tap on Change Password. For verification, you’ll be prompted to enter your device passcode or use Face ID or Touch ID depending on your settings. Once verified, you'll be taken to a page where you need to enter your current iCloud password, then type in your new password, and re-enter it to confirm.
After entering the new password, tap Change or Continue to save it. This will immediately update your password across all Apple services including iCloud, App Store, and iMessage.
If you've forgotten your current password, tap the Forgot Password link on the same screen. You’ll be asked to enter the trusted phone number linked to your Apple ID. After verifying with the one-time code sent to your device, you'll be able to reset your password and set a new one.
Changing your iCloud password regularly is a good habit for keeping your account protected and ensuring no unauthorized access to your Apple services.
