About this video: If you want to know how to download and install the Building Gadgets mod for Minecraft 1.16.5, this is the video for you! We show you every step of downloading, installing, and setting up Building Gadgets for 1.16.5. Building Gadgets is one of the coolest survival building mods we've seen for Minecraft, so let's go ahead and get Building Gadgets installed in 1.16.5!
The first step of getting the Building Gadgets mod for 1.16.5 is going to be downloading and install Forge. Forge is the Minecraft mod loader that is required in order to play Building Gadgets and other mods on 1.16.5. The good news is we have an in-depth tutorial on downloading, installing, and setting up Forge in the description above. It goes over everything you need to know to get Forge setup for Building Gadgets 1.16.5.
After you have Forge, we can move on to downloading Building Gadgets. You can find the official Building Gadgets download page in the description above. Once you are there, look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down until you see the ‘Minecraft 1.16’ section. Under that, you will see the 1.16 version of Building Gadgets. Click the orange download button to the left of this version to start downloading Building Gadgets 1.16.5. You will need to keep or save the file depending on the browser you are using.
Once you have Building Gadgets downloaded, it is time to learn how to install Building Gadgets in Minecraft 1.16.5. This is pretty easy. Just press the Windows key on your keyboard and ‘R’ at the exact same time. This will open your Run app. In the text box in this app, type ‘%appdata%’, and hit enter. This will open your Roaming folder. In the roaming folder, you will have a .minecraft folder. Open that folder, and you should have a mods folder. If you don’t have a mods folder, create one! Open your mods folder, and drag-and-drop the Building Mods folder you downloaded into this mods folder. It’s that easy to install Building Gadgets in Minecraft 1.16.5!
You aren’t completely done though. You still need to open up the Minecraft launcher, Once you have opened the Minecraft launcher, make sure that you have the Forge profile select by clicking the little arrow next to the Play button, selecting the Forge profile, and clicking the green ‘Play’ button. This will open up Minecraft 1.16.5 with the Building Gadgets mods installed!
