About this video: This video is our complete guide on how to download and install the Better Minecraft modpack. This modpack takes Minecraft and makes it better by adding in over 100 new biomes to the overworld, nether, and end, 3 new dimensions to explore, a better end, new dungeons and structures, and so much more all added with over 200 mods. This is all done while still trying to maintain a vanilla Minecraft experience. So, without anymore delay, here is how to add the Better Minecraft modpack to Minecraft!
The first step of getting Better Minecraft is actually downloading and install the CurseForge Launcher. Better Minecraft is hosted on CurseForge, so you need it in order to install the Better Minecraft modpack. You can find a link to CurseForge in the description above. That will actually take you to our CurseForge guide. When you are there, click on the ‘Download CurseForge’ button. You will then be taken to the official CurseForge download page. Click the ‘Downlaod for Windows’ button here, and CurseForge will begin downloading.
After you have CurseForge downloaded, install CurseForge for the Better Minecraft modpack is super easy. Just double click on the file you downloaded, and a program installer will open up. This is just like installing any other program, click next a few times, and then click install. The CurseForge Launcher will then install and should open up after it is finished.
In the CurseForge Launcher, you will see Minecraft. Click that, and then click the orange ‘Install’ button at the bottom of the screen. This will then get CurseForge ready from Minecraft. Finally, you will see a search box at the top of the screen. Click on this and search for ‘Better Minecraft’ the Better Minecraft modpack will appear. Click the orange install button on this modpack, and Better Minecraft will begin installing! It will take a decent amount of time to download Better Minecraft, so sit back and relax until it is finished.
Once Better Minecraft is down downloading click the Play button that appears. The Minecraft Launcher will open up. Here you will need to login to your Minecraft account. Next, make sure ‘Better Minecraft’ is select. If it isn’t close the Minecraft Launcher and click the Play button on Better Minecraft again. Finally, click the green Play button in the Minecraft launcher. Better Minecraft will start opening up!
