How to Find your Video Recording Captures on Windows 11 PC (Xbox Game Bar)
On Windows 11, you can find your video recording captures using a couple of methods. Let me guide you through them:
Using Snipping Tool:
Snipping Tool is built into Windows 11 and allows you to capture both images and videos.
To open Snipping Tool, simply search for it in the Start menu search box.
In the top toolbar, click the Record button, then select New.
Drag and drop a rectangle to indicate the portion of the screen you want to record.
Press Start, and a 3-second countdown will begin for your recording.
After you finish, press Stop.
Your recording can be copied into memory, shared via the Share dialog, or saved (by default, it will be saved in the Videos folder).
Keep in mind that audio recording is not yet supported, and the only supported format is MP41.
Using Xbox Game Bar:
Xbox Game Bar is built into Windows 11 and is specifically related to gaming features.
To open Xbox Game Bar, press Windows+G or search for it directly in the Start menu search box.
Click the Camera icon to open a window for capturing your screen.
From here, you can choose to record your screen as a video or take a screenshot.
If you’re recording a video, you might want to disable your microphone beforehand.
When you’re ready to begin recording, click the Record button (the one with the solid white circle)
