How to Make the Text Size Larger on Windows 11 PC (Settings Tutorial)
To make the text size larger on your Windows 11 PC, follow these steps:
Open Windows Settings:
Right-click the Start button on your taskbar and select “Settings” from the menu that appears.
Alternatively, press Windows + i on your keyboard to open the Settings app directly.
Navigate to Accessibility:
In the Settings window, click on “Accessibility” in the sidebar.
Adjust Text Size:
Under Text Size, you’ll find a slider labeled “Text Size.”
Drag the circle on the slider to the right to increase the size of the system font.
As you adjust the slider, a percentage number will appear above it, indicating the new size relative to the original size (100%).
For example, at “200%”, the system fonts will appear twice as large as the default.
Apply Changes:
Click “Apply” to save your settings.
All open windows will refresh, and you’ll see the text size changes reflected in them.
Remember that some larger fonts might not fit perfectly in the interface, and you may occasionally see ellipses (three dots) when words don’t fit the available space. If you ever need to adjust the system font size again, revisit Settings- Accessibility - Text Size and use the “Text Size” slider. To revert to the default font size, set the slider back to “100%”.
