Hide Apps Using iOS 18 or Later (With Optional Face ID/Passcode Lock)
Locate the App:
Find the app on your Home Screen or in the App Library (swipe left to access).
Hide the App:
Press and hold the app icon until a menu appears.
Tap Require Face ID (or Require Passcode if Face ID isn’t set up).
Select Hide and Require Face ID (or Hide and Require Passcode) in the pop-up to hide the app and lock it.
The app will be removed from the Home Screen and moved to a Hidden folder in the App Library.
Access Hidden Apps:
Go to the App Library and scroll to the Hidden folder (or search for the app).
Tap the app and authenticate with Face ID or passcode to open it.
Unhide the App (if needed):
In the App Library, find the app in the Hidden folder or via search.
Tap and hold the app icon, then select Add to Home Screen or drag it to the Home Screen.
To remove the Face ID/passcode requirement, go to Settings - Accessibility - Face ID & Attention (or Settings - Face ID & Passcode), find the app under Other Apps, and toggle off Require Face ID or Require Passcode.
