How to Remove Payment Method on PS4 Console (Credit Card, Debit Card, Paypal)
1You can easily remove a payment method from your PS4 console through its settings. This prevents unauthorized purchases or unwanted charges.
Steps to Remove a Payment Method on PS4
Turn on your PS4 and make sure you're logged into the PSN account from which you want to remove the payment method.
From the PS4's home screen, navigate to the "Settings" icon (it looks like a toolbox or briefcase) in the top row. Press X.
Scroll down and select "Account Management." Press X.
Select "Account Information." Press X.
The system might take a moment to load this screen, and you may be prompted to re-enter your PSN password for security purposes. Enter your password and select "Continue."
Scroll down and select "Wallet." Press X.
Select "Payment Methods." Press X.
Again, you might need to enter your PSN password here.
A list of your saved payment methods (credit/debit cards, PayPal) will appear.
Highlight the payment method you wish to remove. Press X.
A new screen will pop up with options for that payment method. Scroll down and select "Delete." Press X.
A confirmation message will appear, asking "Are you sure you want to delete this payment method?" Select "Yes" to confirm. Press X.
Your payment method will now be removed from your PSN account on the console. If you have multiple payment methods, repeat the process for each one you want to delete.
