NordVPN sends you windows notifications to update you on your VPN connection status. This way you know when you successfully connect to their secure servers. The notifications can also tell you if you disconnect, so you can reconnect if necessary.

The popup notifications can be rather annoying when you’re connecting to the NordVPN servers. As a result you can turn off notifications through the Nord application settings.

NordVPN notifications can be turned off through the general application settings. The popup messages can also be turned off from the windows notification and actions menu.
