How to Turn On Home & Back Button on Samsung Phone (Easy Tutorial)
Steps to Turn On Home & Back Buttons on Samsung Phone
Open the Settings App
Tap the "Settings" app on your Samsung phone. You can find it on the home screen, in the app drawer, or by swiping down from the top of the screen and tapping the gear icon.
Go to Display Settings
Scroll down and tap "Display" to access display-related options.
Access Navigation Bar Settings
Scroll to and tap "Navigation bar." This is where Samsung lets you configure navigation options.
Enable 3-Button Navigation
You’ll see two main options:
Gesture navigation: The default full-screen gesture system.
Buttons: The traditional 3-button layout.
Tap "Buttons" to enable the 3-button navigation.
The layout will include:
Back button (triangle, usually on the right): Returns to the previous screen.
Home button (circle or house icon, usually in the center): Takes you to the home screen.
Recent apps button (square or stacked lines, usually on the left): Shows recent apps.
Customize (Optional)
Under the "Navigation bar" settings, you may see a "Button order" option. You can choose:
Back-Home-Recent (default).
Recent-Home-Back (swapped layout).
Some models also offer a "Show and hide button" option to add a small dot or button to toggle the navigation bar visibility for a full-screen experience.
