How to use 1 Account for 2 Phones on WhatsApp
To use one WhatsApp account on two phones simultaneously, you can utilize WhatsApp's Companion Mode, which allows you to link up to four additional devices to your primary WhatsApp account. Here's a step-by-step guide to set it up:
Requirements:
Primary phone: The phone with the active WhatsApp account and registered phone number.
Secondary phone: The second phone where you want to use the same WhatsApp account.
Both phones need an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
The latest version of WhatsApp installed on both devices.
Steps to Link a Second Phone:
Install WhatsApp on the Secondary Phone:
Download WhatsApp from the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) on the secondary phone.
If WhatsApp is already installed, ensure it’s updated to the latest version.
Open WhatsApp on the Secondary Phone:
Launch WhatsApp and select your preferred language.
On the login screen where it asks for your phone number, do not enter a number.
Access the Link Option:
For Android: Tap the three dots in the top-right corner and select "Link to existing account".
For iOS: Tap "Link this device to an existing account".
A QR code will appear on the secondary phone’s screen.
Link the Devices Using the Primary Phone:
Open WhatsApp on your primary phone (the one with the active account).
For Android: Tap the three dots in the top-right corner, go to Linked Devices, and select Link a device.
For iOS: Go to Settings - Linked Devices - Link a device.
Use the primary phone’s camera to scan the QR code displayed on the secondary phone.
