To test your microphone and listen to yourself on a Windows 11 or 10 PC, follow these steps:

Method 1: Using Sound Settings
Right-click the speaker icon in the system tray (bottom-right corner).

Select Sound settings (Windows 11) or Open Sound settings (Windows 10).
Scroll down to the Input section and select your microphone under Choose your input device.

Click Device properties (Windows 11) or Manage sound devices (Windows 10).

Look for the Test your microphone section and speak into the mic—the bar should move if it's working.
