If you want apps to open in full screen on Windows 10 or 11, here’s how you can do it:
Method 1: Maximize Windows on Startup
Most apps remember their last window state. To force them to open full screen every time:
Open the app.
Click the maximize button - at the top-right corner.
Close the app while maximized.
Reopen the app -it should now open in full screen.
Method 2: Change App Shortcut Properties
For some apps, you can force full-screen mode by changing the shortcut settings:
Right-click on the app shortcut.
Click Properties.
Go to the Shortcut tab.
In the Run section, select Maximized.
Click Apply -OK.
Method 3: Enable Tablet Mode (Windows 10 only)
If you want apps to open full screen automatically:
Open Settings (Win + I).
Go to System - Tablet Mode.
Set When I sign in to Use tablet mode.
Restart your PC.
📌 Note: Tablet mode is removed in Windows 11.
Method 4: Force Full Screen in Games or Specific Apps
For games and some apps:
Press Alt + Enter to toggle full screen.
Look for a full-screen setting inside the app’s settings.
