How to Transfer All your Photos to Laptop or PC from Android Phone (Best Method)
Transferring all your photos from an Android phone to a laptop or PC is a common task, and the "best method" depends on your preference for speed, convenience, and whether you want to use a wired or wireless connection.
Method 1: The USB Cable Method (The Best & Most Reliable)
This is the most direct, fastest, and most reliable method, especially for transferring a large number of photos and videos. It doesn't rely on an internet connection and is a simple "plug-and-play" process.
What you'll need: A USB cable (the one that came with your phone is best).
For Windows PC:
Connect your phone to your PC using the USB cable.
Unlock your phone. A notification will appear on your phone, usually saying "Charging this device via USB." Tap on it.
Change the USB connection mode. In the menu that appears, select "File Transfer" (or "MTP"). This allows your computer to see your phone's storage.
Open your phone's storage on the PC. On your computer, open File Explorer (by pressing the Windows key + E). Your phone should appear under "This PC" or "Devices and drives."
Find your photos. Double-click your phone's icon, then open "Internal shared storage." Most photos and videos are in the DCIM folder, specifically in the Camera sub-folder. Screenshots are typically in the Pictures folder.
Copy all photos. Select the folders or individual photos you want to transfer, then drag and drop them to a folder on your computer.
