How to Turn Off the Controller Speaker on PS4 Console
To turn off the controller speaker on your PS4 console, follow these steps:
Turn on your PS4 and connect your controller. Make sure your DualShock 4 controller is connected to the console via USB or Bluetooth.
Go to the Settings menu. From the PS4 home screen, scroll up to the top menu and select Settings, the toolbox icon.
Select Devices. In the Settings menu, scroll down and choose Devices.
Choose Controllers. Under the Devices menu, select Controllers to access controller-specific options.
Adjust the Volume. You’ll see an option called Volume Control Speaker for Controller. Select it, and a slider will appear. Move the slider all the way to the left to set the volume to zero, effectively muting the controller speaker.
Save your changes. Once the volume is set to zero, simply exit the menu. The controller speaker will now be turned off for games and apps that use it.
