Here’s how to turn on HDMI ALLM (Auto Low-Latency Mode) on your Roku TV or device, without brackets:

Understand ALLM
ALLM is a feature that automatically switches your TV to a low-latency mode, ideal for gaming, when a compatible device like a gaming console is detected. It’s supported on most 4K Roku TVs and some Roku streaming devices with HDMI 2.1 capabilities.

Connect a Compatible Device
Plug your gaming console or ALLM-supported device into an HDMI port on your Roku TV or Roku streaming device, such as a Roku Ultra or Streaming Stick 4K, that supports HDMI 2.1.

Access Settings
Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
Navigate to Settings, System, using the directional arrows.
Enable Control Other Devices
Go to Control Other Devices, CEC, in the System menu.

Turn on HDMI CEC if it’s not already enabled; this allows communication between your Roku TV and connected devices.

Look for 1-Touch Play or similar options and ensure it’s enabled to support automatic mode switching.

Configure HDMI Mode
Go back to Settings, TV Inputs, or System depending on your model.
Select the HDMI port where your device is connected, then choose HDMI Mode.

Set it to Auto or Standard; Auto lets the TV detect ALLM signals, while Standard supports advanced features like ALLM on HDMI 2.1 ports.
Test Automatic Switching

Turn on your gaming console; if ALLM is working, the Roku TV should automatically switch to Game Mode or a low-latency setting.

Check the Picture Settings by pressing the Star button on your remote while on that HDMI input; Game Mode should activate when ALLM is detected.
Adjust Game Mode Manually, Optional

If ALLM doesn’t trigger automatically, go to the HDMI input, press the Star button, select Picture Settings, Game Mode, and turn it on manually to reduce latency.
