In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using the Hunter skull with a Crit Items focused strategy! Hunter is a long term favorite of mine, and a character I regard extremely highly. He's supposed to be a concentration based character, but I often find playing him without focusing on concentrating and rather only concentrating when it makes sense to be the most viable, since his unconcentrated skills are still very powerful. Mainly the way to generate damage on Hunter is to focus on critting. Hunter has a passive that relates to distance from an enemy equals crit% and crit damage. This makes Hunter a fantastic character to consider when building for Strike, but in my opinion Hunter's main gimmick is Crit Items, and is what we'll be focusing on today. This archetype is centered around taking items that proc when dealing a critical hit, and is without a doubt the strongest archetype in Skul. It's also very easy to build, so it's one of the most reliable winning strategies in this game. It also so happens Hunter is one of the best at using it, which means today's run is a perfect recipe for ridiculousness. So, that's today's idea, Crit Items and Hunter! Joined by Shield, can these two catch the end game lacking with one of the strongest item combinations possible?
