You may have noticed that during our exploration of Athkatla, we’ve been practically tripping over potential companions. Some of them have been a little more difficult to encounter but most have either been directly presented to us through forced dialogue or been so conspicuous in the places we’ve visited that it would take a conscious effort to not talk to them. This is because the game wants you to get set up with a party that suits your play style as quickly as possible and the only way to do that outside of filling your entire party with custom characters is to give you as many choices as possible early on.

This is no bad thing most of the time, but with our party having only evil characters in it, encountering these characters serves little purpose other than world building and showing us what could’ve been. We’re not going to find any other potential companions in the entire game and only one other person in the expansion that was later released, so as nice as the crazy and wild encounter we’re going to have this video is, it’s not going to change Terri’s travelling companions in the least. The group we have is in it for the long haul but I’m confident they’ll be good enough for the task at hand.
