Let's Play Digimon World Part 59 - Grade B Conquered and a Fair Shot at the Grade A Tournament
Playing what is arguably a most favorite and fondly-remembered game of mines from the childhood days, Digimon World presents an exciting adventure for me and my cousin here as we both delve forward into a duo playthrough together from beginning to end to bring back File Island to it's original bustling city status!
So, with all these battle tournaments that's been going on for a while now, I suppose it's about time we changed things up a little and got back to the vital aspect of recruiting digimon back to File City now, don't you agree?
Indeed, me and Jay decided now was the time to finally get our revenge on that cunning Garurumon, such as he is that he refuses to fight with us unless we literally let our digimon do it's own thing, meaning no items like the battle arena but also no commanding it unlike the battle arena!
HOWEVER, Garurumon didn't feel like showing up today, therefore we had to end up postponing that plan for the time being and, instead, enroll in the next Grade B tournament as it were! Was supposed to be Grade A, but eh oh well! (Not like MetalGreymon would stand much of a realistic chance at winning it as is)
But yes, first fight's against one of the Guardromon, whom we've fought so many times as Vademon way back when trying to learn those potent mech techniques! About the same in challenge as those in Factorial Town and, well with Cynite being as tough as he is, the fight wasn't all that bad truth be told!
Then Aruramon was next and SKIP!
Finally the fight came to facing off against BlueMeramon, first digimon Jay fought in the Battle Arena back as Monzaemon when he handed Halite's ass to him, but now with Cynite the only issue was Jay's MP conservation skills still in need of improvement, but alas he won this Grade B without much bother!
Next day comes and, this time, we actually get into a Grade A tournament proper! Also with Rockmon being quite the nightmare to deal with, however Jay just managed to take down the data beast and no more, since I often pondered if this foe would be better off with the more powerful moves like Ice Statue and Aurora Freeze or the faster, speedy techs like Ice Needle and Sonic Jab, both being powered up by Muscle Charge?
Anyhow, we finally see Myotismon again and, boy, THIS was what I was talking about with this ultimate digimon being quite the deadly enemy to come up against in a competitive environment! Asides from behaving rather smartly for an AI digimon, he's also packing the most powerful in Ice and Air moves, the hard-hitting Aurora Freeze and that classic Thunder Justice!
Truth be told, with MetalGreymon already weakened from his first fight as is, he didn't stand a chance here, but hey he tried!
Now, if we could finally get back on track with that second Garurumon fight here...
In any case, I hope you enjoyed the video and any constructive comments or criticism is appreciated!
