We start off the second half of this forest with the level that originally started the first half, Barrel Shield Bust-Up. Beware of monkeys throwing projectiles, and hide behind the barrel shields. Dixie seems to be better for this level because of her smaller hitbox, but it doesn't make much of a difference either way. After that, we go over to Brash's Stadium (not Brash's Cabin this time) and watch him throw his hissy fit and knock a piece of wood into the river for a makeshift bridge, then back to the riverside with Bobbing Barrel Brawl. As before, use Ellie's water-sucking ability to get through this one. Since we're on the GBA this time, you use R to squirt water...and Down+R to suck it up, which the game doesn't actually tell you. (Also, why is the background so much less detailed in this version of the game?) Then we have Arich, the second boss. The boss music is actually different from what it was for the first boss, and for no apparent reason. He's not too hard to defeat...as long as you're using Dixie. He is nearly impossible as Kiddy because you have to hit him in the head from below, and while Dixie can just ram the barrel into his head, Kiddy actually has to time an upward throw, which is hard to pull off and about 95% of the time gets you hit. Upon defeating Arich, we get a patch, which Funky uses to make a new vehicle. The hovercraft will allow us to reach the next section of the overworld map, or at least it will next time.
