100We have the key to Edna’s room and nothing else we can do anywhere else, so it’s finally time to go inside. As the place in her home with the strongest memories, going there will help unlock the parts of her memory that are still hazy and difficult to discern, at least that’s what she hopes will happen. She also hopes that being there will allow her to clearly remember what happened on the fateful day that her father was implicated in the crime she still firmly believes he didn’t commit.
One you enter that room, there’s no going back. Not only will we never again be able to use our inventory, but Edna will begin walking a course from which she veer away. It leads to the truth, one she’s been seeking for nearly the entire game and that she’ll finally possess. Whether she accepts it or not doesn’t change what it is and while I hope beyond all hope that it is what she wants, deep down we all know it won’t be.
