Let's Play Jacked [PCSX2] | Location 1: New York | Race | Jack It | Time Attack
1Welcome to Jacked, a combat racing game inspired by Road Rash, which more or less serves as a spiritual successor to the same. The game features various race modes, including the more traditional modes such as Race and Time Attack in addition to modes more suited to Road Ras,h such as Gang Battles where the objective is to eliminate all enemy riders on the road, or Jack It where the objective is to hijack a bike's rider. To such effect, the game has a variety of weaponry for the player to utilise and the only way to unlock new bikes is to Hijack them and survive their nitrous boost. The game focuses as much on the arcade racing aspect of the game as it does on combat, and in every way, is quite similar to a modern reimagining of Road Rash complete with traffic and combat during races.
The first location in the game is New York and it features three events for players to complete:
The first is a traditional race where the players have to obtain podium. In this event, I barely managed to finish first because of a stroke of luck where my competition crashed into a truck and allowed me to get ahead of them.
The second event is Jack It where we unlock the Secuator by hijacking the bike off an enemy rider within a limit of three laps. We finally managed to jack the bike and survive the nitro boost in the third and final round.
The final event, Time Attack, was rough and full of trucks and cars blocking our way to victory. We got lucky when we managed to score silver in our second round, obtaining a pass and not having to try it again.
