Time to get rid of the last Robot Master. Search Man is his name, and shooting missiles is his game. He is also the only Robot Master ever to have two heads, which doesn't seem to help him. Search Man is designed for camouflage (his body even has such a pattern), and he dwells deep in a forest. This forest is full of projectile-throwing gorillas, swarming birds, sneaky grasshoppers, hooks to swing on, and thorny electric bushes. (Wait...electric bushes? What?) It's probably one of the tougher stages to get through simply because of the sheer number of enemies it has compared to some of the others...and the nasty jumps over spikes. Swing, shoot, don't time it wrong unless you want a very pointy death...don't forget which fire button is which!

Search Man himself is also probably one of the two hardest bosses (next to Aqua Man), but that's by Mega Man 8 standards. He loves to shoot off missiles, and if you get caught by the crosshairs, he'll shoot ones that home in on you. The crosshairs are easy enough to avoid, though, unless he has another attack on the screen at the same time. They appear when he hides behind one of three bushes that drop down. He can also shoot a circular blade that bounces off the walls in a downward fashion (and that's the most annoying one to avoid). Defeating him nets you the Homing Sniper, a basic homing missile. It doesn't do very much damage, but you don't have to be too particular about aiming it (since it, well, homes in on stuff).
