Moving right along, we come to this game's water stage, Aqua Man's. This stage is full of floating mines, bubble-spitting clams, spastic robot squids, and places to show off the (crappy) swimming physics. There is also a rather nasty midboss, a crab-like thing that swims down a waterfall.

Aqua Man himself isn't too troublesome for the most part, but there is a certain attack that is very likely to connect, because dodging it is pretty much luck-based. He can shoot blobs of water in an arc, he can cause a great deluge of water to spray up from the bottom of the screen, or he can squirt water in a pattern of connected lines...and it's that last one that makes him annoying. In any case, his weapon is the Water Balloon, which really isn't as bad as it sounds. It shoots blobs of water in an arc, and you can shoot quite a few of them.
