With the first stage beaten, it's time for the second, Grenade Man's. He resides in what seems to be some sort of weapons factory, which has plenty of explosive things around. There are canisters that blow up when you shoot them, grenade-throwing Sniper Joes, bombs with countdown timers, Mets on fire, explosive crates with fuses...plenty of stuff that should definitely be kept out of reach of children. This stage also has the game's first midboss, a mechanical eyeball with a ring of junk around it. Charged shots seem to be the best method for taking this thing out the first time through.

Grenade Man himself isn't hard as long as you can react to what he does. He has four different attacks not counting his DM (which simply blows up the floor and drops you down to a less flat area): 1) triple bomb, 2) horizontal Flash Bomb (which also causes junk to fall from the ceiling), 3) diagonal Flash Bomb, 4) dash. but he always does them in groups of three: one of the first three attacks, another of the first three attacks (may or may not be the same), then the dash. Defeating him gives you the Flash Bomb, a basic explosive weapon.
