Let's Play Might and Magic 7! Part 23 - Forgetting the Titans
4As is pretty typical, we begin things today with some inventory management. We keep picking up junk and just need to clear it out so we can pick up more junk.
Back to Titan's Stronghold to finish clearing it out. The Titans mostly hang out in the corridors, but the Dragons all occupy rooms, and those rooms tend to have pillars which said Dragons get stuck on. As such, they have a tendency to glitch out of bounds if given the opportunity. I don't know if this was typical behavior, or if the Grayface patch causes this. At least two dragons leave the map this way and I'm not able to kill them.
We run into a spot of trouble with one of the last Blood Titans in the stronghold. It manages to kill Morgana through Protection from Magic, somehow. We take a moment to recover from this, but then return back to finishing off the last of them. Outside of two dragons glitched out of bounds this dungeon is complete!
Running low on dungeons, I decide to go to Land of the Giants and start to clear away the enemies there... more Titans and Dragons! There's also Devils here, but they occupy the southwest part of the map, while the dragons are in the northwest. Titans are part of the rest of the map.
The method we used to fight the Titans in the Stronghold doesn't really work on the overworld, so we revert to the old strategy we took fighting Hydras to enter turn based and cast Meteor Shower at them, firing arrows otherwise, and just flying up and down to avoid return fire.
This only lasts so long before I start running out of SP, so I Town Portal back to Harmondale to rest up and recast everything and casting Invisibility I take a tour of Land of the Giants to locate Colony Zod and the Devils. Also to pick up more good loot like Genie Lamps, Stalt Ore, and... Divine Intervention scrolls?? I'm also coming to the conclusion that I should train to get some SP, then invest in Blaster Skill for a couple people as I have two of them we can use. Blasters will make killing the things in Land of the Giants much easier.
That takes up the rest of this video, killing Titans with blasters and doing it much faster than before. We still have the area around the teleportation shrine to clear, then the Devils themselves as we are ready to finally take on Colony Zod.
