Well, this is it. We're suited up and ready to take on the final task this game wants us to do. We move to Avlee's western border and are given a prompt to enter The Shoals which will take us one day.

The Shoals is an entirely underwater map. We can't remove our Wetsuits here, but we can move around like we have the Fly spell activated. Completely unable to cast magic, we encounter a variety of Sharks which have ranged water elemental attacks. Our Blasters are more than enough to stop them, though. While exploring we find the wreck of a sailboat that had a curious treasure in it: a Temple in a Bottle. We'll get to that later.

Our goal is a large space ship that has been hidden here for quite some time. There's only one entrance and it immediately takes us into a combat scenario. We get into our inventory right away to exchange out the Wetsuits for our enchanted equipment, and then try to find someplace safe to start blasting. These enemies are called Droids and they come in three types: Seeker, Sentinel, and Assassin. Fortunately, unlike in the previous game, none of them can eradicate us on a successful hit; instead they can just hit multiple party members for some pretty big damage.

At first our exploration is limited. Many doors are sealed shut until we can find our way to Engineering and turn the power back on completely. Once we do that, we discover the escape pods and make the observation of one of them being missing, then fight our way to the Bridge to clear it out and collect the Oscellation Overthruster. Picking this item up activates some kind of automated defense system... either that, or taking it caused power problems for the ship and that explains all the Sparks flying around. We get out, putting our Wetsuits back on along the way, and leave The Lincoln, then back to Avlee through The Shoals. Once able to, we cast Town Portal back to Harmondale to deposit our Wetsuits.

Then it's back to The Pit for the end of the game! We go back to the Throne Room and hand Kastore the Oscellation Overthruster. A cutscene plays and that's the end! We wind up getting kicked back to Harmondale outside of our Castle with a completely clean Quest book. All that's left are the dungeons we never actually completed: Watchtower 6, Dragon Caves, Castle Lambent, Temple in a Bottle, and if we feel like it, take out The Pit and Castle Gloaming as well.
