Let’s Play The Plutonia Experiment #01: Hit the Ground Sprinting
338It’s Doom, but not as we know it, for the second part of Final Doom is very unlike anything that came before. Gone is the easy start and slow introduction of enemies. Gone is the plentiful weapons and armour needed to take out the foes before you with ease. Gone also is the knowledge that the game won’t throw devious traps at you right from the start.
What remains is an experience unlike any that we’ve had before on this channel, for the Plutonia Experiment is such a challenge that I haven’t played it very often and when I did, I didn’t get too far in. Far more difficult that Evilution, it’s a game that gives you all that you loved in Doom II and throws it at you in such huge volumes that it throws those not prepared off-guard. While our other battles against the infernal forces have done relatively smoothly, this one is likely to be a bumpy road of adversity, one laden with more enemies then we can fire a chaingun at.
I may not have as much knowledge of this game as I have the others but I refuse to let it beat me. The road ahead of us will be long but we will see its end, of that I assure you. But enough talk, there is dakka to be had.
