There are four levels to the Urbish Mines making it one of the larger areas in the game in terms of the number of floors. There are however much larger dungeons in Lands of Lore and while this one is large it certainly isn't as dangerous as later locations. Lamp oil is very important in the mines; in fact, it's barely used beyond this point so there's no harm in using your flasks liberally in here, the game gives you more then enough.

We're also presented with the opportunity of finding one of the reagents for the Draracle's elixir here but we'll have to hunt around to actually find it.
