Let’s Replay Trine 2 w/ Alienkabalien #16: Saving Isabel
43Isabel, the rightful queen of the kingdom we just cleared the goblin king out of, is being held against her will by her sister Isabel. Rosabel did this so she could become queen, thinking herself far better suited to the role, but imprisoning Isabel had unintended side effects. So powerful was Isabel's magic that it seeped into the land, affecting the plant life and animals in a way that is both wondrous and terrifying. Rosbael believes that the power of the Trine can restore her kingdom to how it was but the heroes have a far simpler plan: to free Isabel and return her to her throne.
Of course, Rosabel isn’t too keen on this idea and while she has a lot of power in her own right, she also has a servant who is even more powerful, one we’ve seen before and yet haven’t faced before. And so it ends as things like this often do, in a climactic final duel that will determine the fate of not one, but two kingdoms. I don’t think I need to say what the consequences of failure are, so let’s focus on what me and Alienkabalien are best at: winging things by the skin of our teeth.
