Let’s Replay Trine 2 w/ Alienkabalien #17: No Rest for Weary Heroes
43The kingdom is saved. Isabel has been returned to her rightful place as queen of her kingdom and the out-of-control growth of plantlife has ceased. The heroes of the Trine can rest easy knowing that they have done well and what better place to do that than a tavern? A roaring fire, a hearty meal, good company and all the ale you can drink sounds like a fine celebration, one that the entire town can partake in.
That said, I feel like our heroes may have forgotten something, something rather important. Sure, Isabel is no longer a threat but there was another, very real danger on their journey, one that was numerous and well-equipped for combat. It was also a threat that the heroes discovered were planning to attack the kingdom for its wealth but at the time they were too busy trying to save Rosabel to do anything about it. If they decide to go ahead with that plan, the kingdom will once again be in peril, forcing the heroes into action just hours after battling a dragon. The chances of that happening, however, are very low. I mean, it’s not like we’re playing the game’s expansion now, is it?
...What’s that? We ARE playing the expansion and it’s called The Goblin Menace? Oh.
