This is the longplay of The Tick, an action, beat n' up and platform game, produced by Software Creations and released by Fox Interactive in 1994 for Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis.

The game is based on the cartoon of the same name, shown on the Fox Kids channel. Tick is a character created by cartoonist Ben Edlund in 1986, as a mascot for the American publisher New England Comics and is a parody of classic comic book superheroes. Tick is a superhero who possesses superhuman strength (being able to bend steel beams very easily), is virtually invulnerable, and is extremely resistant to adversity. A kind of power known as "drama power" makes Tick increase the level of his powers when the situation he finds himself in is more dramatic. The character can also survive in space or under water without oxygen for a long time. The game is a typical beat 'n up, where we control Tick and need to hit enemies. like ninjas, clowns, mobsters and others.

Tick can punch, kick and grab enemies, in addition to having the help of Arthur, his friend, who appears flying and defeats all enemies on the screen, in addition to other friends (who fight alongside Tick for a limited time, and stand with their backs to each other to hit enemies on either side of the screen). This game is extremely bad and poorly made, the collisions are terrible, the campaign is long and extremely monotonous. Items are extremely rare and Arthurs can only be recovered by losing a continue. The graphics are even well done, but the fights are very boring, they don't even have the emotion of good beat'n ups like Final Fight and Streets of Rage, those really wonderful games. The game doesn't even have a password or save, things necessary for extensive games. The Tick is one of the worst games on the SNES. Watching paint dry on the wall is more exciting and fun than playing such a bad game.
The video was made playing all the stages and then a post game with the subplots (yes, I cheated on that part).
I hope you like it (the video, not the game).
