This is the longplay of the game Mortal Kombat II, a fighting game first released for Arcades in 1993, having been developed and published by Midway Games, and later received domestic versions for several consoles by Acclaim Entertainment. This is the original version released for Arcades.

Mortal Kombat II picks up right where the first game ended. After Shang Tsung's defeat at the hands of Liu Kang, the evil sorcerer begs his master, Shao Kahn, to spare his life, promising not to fail a second time. Shao Kahn then restores Tsung's youth, and allows him to challenge Earth's heroes again, starting yet another mortal combat, this time fought in Outworld. The fighters who are under the guidance of the god Raiden must once again fight to protect the world and stop Shang Tsung's plans.

Five of the characters from the first game return, including Sub-Zero, Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, Raiden and Scorpion. Reptile, who was a secret character in the first game, and the sorcerer Shang Tsung himself, can now be controlled by the player. In Mortal Kombat II we have five new fighting characters: Baraka, Jax Briggs, Kitana, Kung Lao and Mileena, totaling 12 playable characters. In addition to the playable characters, the game features the bosses Kintaro (a 4-armed being, the same race as Goro) and Shao Kahn, the great and perverse emperor of Outworld. Sonya Blade and Kano are not playable, as they were imprisoned by Shao Kahn, the great villain of Mortal Kombat II (and several other games in the franchise).

The game has been completely improved in every way: the graphics have been better captured using modern equipment, new scenarios have been included, the sounds have become much sharper and more polished (feature Shao Kahn's voice narrating the game) and the endings are improved. much more violent and bloody. In addition to fatalities, Friendship (a submission that does not kill the opponent) and Babality (where the opponent is turned into a baby) were also included. Many ideas that could not be put into MK1 (due to the short time and limitations of the developers' equipment) were finally included in MK2.

Mortal Kombat II is considered largely responsible for the worldwide projection of the series, having commercial and critical success far above expectations, in addition to taking several awards since its launch. The game is a true classic, hugely successful and remembered even today. The video was made playing with all the characters. Hope you like it.
