The FPS can go lower than what you see in this sequence but it was easier to collect data this way.
Trying to obtain two in-game identical runs would've been much harder and less reliable, so I preferred this opening sequence.
It can still give a good comparison between the two versions.
The videos were captured with an external Blackmagick card, but this time I used OBS for the actual video recording instead of Blackmagic's Media Express. No special reason, just curiosity, but OBS did well.
Framedata collected with Fraps and Voglperf, processed with Gnumeric which I also used for the graphs.
One thing that looks like I must insist upon:
A lot of sequence's (they are not recorded videos) elements are randomized; Max's hair, dog's fur, phycho dudes outfits, lighting, etc, and all this is happening in both versions.
Yes, the videos are not looking the same, but that's only because I had no time to get both videos to exactly match.
(I did succeeded once, but one of them had an annoying glitch so I just gave up and used these)
