0:00 Taking Care of Pots
You have to take control of Laeni, since Pots is unconscious. You have to get water from the west map and on your way back, you'll find a flower that teaches Laeni an offensive spell. This one is far stronger than the spells used by Wein and Griswold, but costs 8 MP. Yeah, high cost high reward skills seem to be common here.
When Laeni decides to find some food, go to the eastern map to find some eggs. The mother bird will attack, but Laeni can easily defeat the bird by spamming Holy.
7:48 Pots's Nightmares
Pots is still tormented by both his guilt and Eldromus in his nightmares. We also see flashbacks of both his falling out with his father and his viler deeds when he was still working for Maultor. It looks like even Vandar was a villain who had to seek redemption the hard way. We also see a flashback of him being shy around Laeni.
Meanwhile, Laeni is dragging him to higher ground because of a sudden flood. Pots wakes up in time for a boss battle.
21:19 Boss: Behemoth
This boss didn't last long enough to show off any concerning abilities.
23:22 More Gorgath Bluffs Exploration
Pots will explore further ahead to find a nearby ship. He manages to light a fire in time to signal the ship, allowing him and Laeni to hitch a ride.
26:21 Inexilium
Pots wants to get off at Porthul, but Valdraek refuses, since doing so risks provoking the elves and he already has a delivery job in progress. Honestly, I think Pots should have either agreed to be dropped off at New Sporgel or ask for a stop at Dupre, since Valdraek's refusal is actually reasonable and Pots didn't really explain why he needed to get to Porthul. Yes, it's important to save the world quickly, but this ship has its own survival to worry about and it's inconsiderate to unnecessarily put others at risk.
35:11 Cock Fight with Valdraek
Since Valdraek is hitting on Laeni, the deal for this fight is that if Pots wins, Valdraek takes us to Porthul. Otherwise, Valdraek gets to dine with Laeni. Yeah, this part feels very forced, awkward, and perfectly avoidable though other storytelling means, like the compromise I mentioned above. If this setting had social media, Valdraek would be attempting to get # CuckPots trending.
In the second round, Valdraek will be unbeatable, but you can steal the legendary Tarnished Sword from him before his inevitable victory over Pots. I highly recommend doing so, since the sword gives initiative to Pots, making it easier to kill Tetrahedrons before they flee.
36:51 Valdraek's Past
Valdraek was once a resident of the Plains of Zarduun, but was exiled when his magic powers were discovered. Valdraek's master advocated the use of magic and revealed that the hatred towards magic was orchestrated by Azcol the Enlightened, all to weaken Zarduun's tribes.
41:37 Maelstrom
The ship is about to sink because of a Maelstrom, but before talking to Valdraek, talk to all the crew members, since one of them has a Megalixer for those crazy enough to chat up NPCs right before an imminent shipwreck.
44:03 Madurai
We're saved by a town of aquatic humanoids, the Madurains, who were once a properous civilization until they angered the gods with their hubris. One of the crew members, Adelle, is suffering from pressure sickness, so we need to team up with Valdraek to find Capitis seaweed to cure her.
54:12 Attempting to Survive Valdraek Round 2
If you equip fire resistance, it'll be much easier to outlast Valdraek's damage. Combined with Pots's speed, he can spam Steal Health to try to maintain his HP against Valdraek's damage. Unfortunately, Valdraek will eventually use a stronger skill that deals over 7k damage, though he will acknowledge your efforts. This doesn't seem to have any achievements tied to it.
