Matterfall - 1-2 Boulevard Concourse in 2:15
4Second level of the game. The previous record by Zaliphone was 2:33, so this is an improvement of 18 seconds.
Once again I tried to keep the route simple and only used double weapon boosting with high jumps. Perhaps later I'll devise a more difficult route that uses double weapon boosting for all navigation.

Some comments:
0:36 - this part of the route relies on intentionally taking damage from the first laser in order to boost past the second laser.
0:38 - this area sometimes feels inconsistent to speed through because the hitbox for the red crystals and the fireballs is a bit odd.
0:45 - mistake. The shotgun doesn't activate for some reason and the intended boost fails.
0:49 - mistake. This bit of damage is completely unnecessary (if mostly harmless).
0:52 - I intentionally land on one of the enemies to boost past the laser.
0:59 - mistake. I accidentally do an upwards dash instead of sideways dash, but strangely enough it gets the job done.
1:05 - the highest jump in the runs so far. It can be done with shotgun boost alone, but it's far easier if you use double boosting.
1:37 - mistake. I hit ground before second jump of the shotgun boost and lose extra momentum.
1:45 - mistake. The sideways dash interrupts almost instantly for some reason.
2:07 - I deal with enemies during the elevator ride somewhat safely. I'm guessing both of the bigger enemies could be killed at least a half a second faster.
2:37 - I intentionally take damage once more to boost past the final laser.
A perfect run of this level using this route would be around 2:10?
