Max Payne 3 - Last Man Standing glitch compilation (Chapter 1)
6Max is a very accident-prone hero who can't go for 20 seconds without dying mysteriously. In other words, here are all the Last Man Standing + retry glitch variations that are possible in Chapter 1, just for the sake of cataloging things well.
A brief explanation: this glitch usually makes Max appear at the previous Checkpoint, but the Last Man Standing countdown is running down. Colors are gray, Max is forced to aim at something, camera is unusually close to Max, other animation glitches or side effects can happen. After 10-15 seconds he dies all of a sudden.
0:00 - Chapter 1-2 normal variation.
0:20 - Chapter 1-2 alternative variation. Glitched Pause-menu with LMS + retry glitch sometimes gives you a different variation where Max's movements are slowed down and sometimes choppy, as seen here.
0:39 - Chapter 1-4 normal variation.
0:52 - Chapter 1-4 alternative variation. The elevator doors won't even get to open (because of slowed down time?) before Max buys the proverbial farm.
1:13 - Chapter 1-5 normal variation.
1:28 - Chapter 1-5 alternative variation.
1:50 - Chapter 1-6 normal variation. Max appears at last Checkpoint in t-pose and immobile.
2:08 - Chapter 1-6 alternative variation. Sometimes alternative version doesn't differ from the normal variation, and if I make similar videos from other chapters and there are redundant results I'll omit them. However, I included this one because it shows a different view of the t-pose, and it also demonstrates how it's possible to start the glitch using the PS3 system menu. (Kind of pointless, but... yeah.)
2:25 - Chapter 1-8 normal variation. The loading screen is so long that Max dies inside it. So afterwards he just hangs out in t-pose inside the parking hall. Retrying returns things to normal.
