Mayhem Brawler (PC) CO-OP Playthrough / Law enforcement agency of supernatural beings to the rescue!
Mayhem Brawler (2021) by HeroConcept is is basically a clone of Streets of Rage game. Similarities can be seen at almost every turn when it comes to the combat system and general gameplay. The game, on the other hand, enriches us with the choice of the path we will take to complete the game. Three endings have been put at our disposal, and different paths lead to them, which we can choose after passing the level. This is a rather unusual mechanic in Beat 'em up games so at least this is what makes it stand out from the competition. I won't say but 3 endings and 2 characters to unlock definitely lengthen the gameplay, which certainly goes to the plus side. The combat system is practically the same as in SOR only a little less dynamic and fluid. At least I got that impression. But overall it plays really well, and I have to admit that I was surprised because I expected a cheap imitation of SOR and got a very good clone. The only thing I'll complain about is the level design. They are designed the same only differ in graphics, if I were to present it more clearly it looks more or less like this " one long straight level and a boss arena , then again one long straught level and a boss arena and so on...." . I don't know maybe I'm being picky, but I just got this impression during gameplay. Maybe for the fact that from the games released after 2010 I expect a little more variety. I know I am complaining ...... The game is good and definitely worth your time. And I would forget .... the main character Star and her wanderings with the phone are extremely infuriating.....
