Slaps and Beans (2017) from Trinity Team srls, is a ride I never expected to take. Why ? Because who would have expected that there would ever be a game based on these two "Legends" .... for this beat'em up. And yet someone did. Respect is truly deserved. Overall, this is one of the biggest surprises I've had to deal with in recent years, and I discovered the game by accident, in fact, due to one of the subscribers. Greetings to DrumManiac. The game has a peculiar graphic style which may not be to everyone's taste, but it suits me just fine. The maps on which we move are quite detailed and the animation is pleasing to the eye. The whole soundtrack deserves the greatest praise here, both sound effects and music. The music is mostly composed of licensed tracks that used to appear in movies with our good old duo. The tunes are really great, they make going through the game much more enjoyable. And I must admit that this is one of the few games in which the soundtrack really plays the first fiddle. After a while with the game we literally start humming these songs over and over again, and sometimes still the next day :D something wonderful indeed. The sound effects are very satisfying, when our slaps reach the enemies, you can literally feel in this sound how the shockwave spreads over the face of the enemy. I must admit, however, that at the beginning of the game we didn't like it very much, probably slightly due to a very simple combat system....... only to get involved into it after a while and finish it in one go. Pure paradox. The game is really sensational and gives a lot of fun. Just do yourself a favor and do not play it alone because you will lose a lot. Take it blind because it is one of the better beat'e m up games of the new generation.... all the more so if you like Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. Bud ..... The echo of your slaps will be remembered for eternity.
